Kinney Pike Helps Expand COVERBooks by Building New Shelves

Selling donated books at COVER to help pay for urgent home repairs.

The COVER Store launched selling donated books on Amazon a year ago.  This social enterprise,manged by volunteer Liz Ambros, is designed to help fund COVER's urgent home repair and energy conservation programs for low income families, the elderly, and those with mobility challenges.

Want to help?  Donate the following types of books: cook books, self help books, spirituality books. Must be in near new condition.  Drop off at The COVER Store, 158 South Main St, White River Junction. Questions: call 802-296-7241 X 1.

Kinney Pike local employees not only volunteered to build books shelves, they have also built accessibility ramps and performed other urgent home repair projects several times each year.
