The eighth talk of CTP’s Tend the Root Series on Personal and Societal Transformation will be brought to you by Benedictine Oblate, Mark Kutolowski. At the root of our ecological crisis lies a deep ignorance of the true nature of humanity. Without rediscovering this essential nature, our efforts to build a sustainable culture will inevitably fall short. In this talk, we will inquire into the spiritual root of unsustainability, explore the immensely beneficial role a spiritually mature human being can have on the ecology of a landscape, and envision a future where human culture and spirituality supports the flourishing of all life.
